The Proposal
Wow, Google can be an amazing thing. Someone recently found me through Google and asked if I could photograph him proposing to his girlfriend. They met at the Valley Stream Train Station and he wanted to ask her to marry him at the very spot where they met. So we coordinated a time and when he arrived I popped out of the waiting room with camera in hand and caught the magical moment.
This was a fun moment to be apart of. And the best part- she said yes!
I am honestly and truly happy for him.
Annual Tradition
Since 2006 I have been photographing the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Balloon Inflation Ceremony. I was originally commissioned by one of the writers at About.com, then owned by the NY Times, to cover the event and I’ve been doing it ever since! The majority of the time I just post the photos to my Facebook page and it has become to mark the holidays to my friends and family. I never realized how many people enjoy seeing the photos appear in their news stream until the one time I did not go and photograph the event. I received 30 angry phone calls and emails about it! It’s like watching a Wonder Life on TV. Yes, people have seen it every year but it’s a tradition they want to see every year so therefore I go and photograph the balloons being inflated.
The balloons are inflated every year around the American Museum of Natural History located on Central Park West & 79th St, New York, NY 10024 on the day before Thanksgiving.
The Official New Logo
Hello everyone,
I am pleased to announce that I have a new logo!
Its supposed to represent my name within the camera sights.
Clever, no?
I am really happy with how it turned out!

Jeff

Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Hi everyone! My latest exhibit at the BJ Spoke Gallery is the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony of 2010. I took this photo from the 12th floor of Rockefeller Center. The photo was taken with my 15mm fisheye lens mounted to my Canon 30D camera.
The photo is printed out 12 x 18 on a Espresso Walnut Frame. The piece was on display for one day before finding a buyer! You can order copies from this website. Just click "frame it" when ordering.
