Macy's Thanksgiving Day Balloons
When I first got into photography, I was approached by one of the content contributors for About.com to photograph the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Balloon Inflation Ceremony. This event occurs the day before Thanksgiving near the American Museum of Natural History on 79th Street and Central Park West.
The writer from About.com used my photos for a couple of years, but then they stopped writing about the parade and balloon inflation ceremony. Nevertheless, I continued attending and photographing the balloon inflation for ten years. After a decade, I decided to stop. Here is a collection of photos I have taken over the years.
