I first discovered my passion for photography somewhat unexpectedly while working as a corporate recruiter at Yahoo!. My team held an offsite meeting in Napa Valley, and since it was my first visit to the region, I bought a Canon Rebel so I could capture the trip. Somewhere along the way, I discovered that I had an eye for photography—and what began as a way to bring home memories became something much more.
In the beginning, I shared my photographs on Flickr, where my work began attracting attention. Over time, my images have been requested for use by Travel + Leisure, AOL, About.com, The Brooklyn Museum, and a variety of travel, education, and lifestyle websites. I also exhibited and sold my work at the BJ Spoke Gallery in Huntington, New York.
Today, I showcase and sell my work exclusively online.
I photograph mostly landscapes and cities, and one of my favorite things to do is travel. There’s nothing quite like waking up in a new place, grabbing my camera, and heading out to see what I can find. That’s why I think of my photography as a series of expeditions.
I’m a native New Yorker and lifelong Long Islander. I’m also a car enthusiast and a member of the Mustang Club of America and the Greater New York Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America, so you’ll occasionally see vintage cars make their way onto this site.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll also frequently find me accompanied by a couple of Beagles who don’t cooperate for the camera nearly as much as I’d like.
